tomorrow, we start full band rehearsals for the winter tour. every tour, i've been using a different lineup, and arranging songs a little differently.. at first, that wasn't intentional, it just came from a lack of options, and a lack of people who really wanted a life on the road... but now, it's becoming more of a conscious effort, to keep switching things up. keeps things fresh, and interesting. there are a few songs that we'll be playing on this tour, that i honestly don't think i could keep playing the way it was recorded, or any of the ways i've toured it before... this tour will be about new songs, for the most part... though nothing is solid right now, on this tour, the lineup looks like it'll be me on guitar, both acoustic and electric, jacob back on lapsteel, charlie (who played drums on the last tour) will move to bass/keys, and we'll be adding a drummer, and another electric player. i'm already pretty thrilled about the possibilities.. pictures/videos from tour rehearsals coming soon...
